PAS mengumumkan cuti khas di Terengganu, selepas parti Islam itu berjaya merampas negeri berkenaan daripada BN.

Ini selepas PAS memenangi 21 daripada 32 kerusi negeri dan 6 daripada 8 kerusi Parlimen di Terengganu.

SPR enggan tandatangan keputusan PRU, kata Shafie

Presiden Parti Warisan Sabah, Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal mendakwa pegawai pengurus pilihan raya enggan menandatangani Borang 14 yang akan mengesahkan parti itu mendapat kerusi negeri mencukupi untuk membentuk kerajaan persekutuan.

Katanya, berdasarkan laporan yang diterima daripada pelbagai pusat mengundi, Warisan mencapai kemenangan bersejarah, tetapi pegawai SPR enggan menandatangani borang dan mengesahkan kemenangan itu.

"Sekarang 12 tengah malam, tetapi keputusan belum keluar...ini membimbangkan kami.

"Buat masa ini, kami memenangi kawasan itu, kemudian kami kalah. (Tetapi) laporan kami kata kami menang," katanya.

Izzah mahu peralihan kuasa secara aman

Calon PKR di Parlimen Permatang Pauh, Nurul Izzah Anwar berharap peralihan kuasa akan berlaku secara aman antara parti pemerintah BN kepada PH dalam beberapa hari lagi.

Naib presiden PKR itu yakin PH memenangi sebahagian besar kerusi Parlimen dan sudah mendapat mandat untuk membentuk kerajaan persekutuan yang baharu.

"Kami mahu keputusan itu diumumkan secara telus dan aman dan saya berharap rakyat Malaysia akan melalui peralihan kuasa dengan lancar, selamat dan damai untuk Malaysia yang lebih baik," katanya di Dewan IKBN di Bukit Mertajam, Pulau Pinang, hari ini.

EC refusing to sign election results, says Shafie

Warisan president Shafie Apdal claims election officials are refusing to sign the Borang 14 forms which would official confirm that the party has enough seats to form the state government.

He said based on reports obtained from numerous polling centres, Warisan had clinched a historic win but EC officers had refused to sign the forms and confirm the victory.

"It’s now 12 midnight but still the results are not out... this worries us.

"For a moment we won the areas and then we lost it. Our reports say we won," he said.

Nurul Izzah wants peaceful transition of power

PH's Permatang Pauh candidate Nurul Izzah Anwar hopes for a peaceful transition of power should the opposition coalition take Putrajaya. 

She said she was confident that PH had the lion’s share of the parliamentary seats and had already secured the mandate to form the next federal government.

"We would like the decisions to be disclosed in a transparent and peaceful manner. To that end, I hope Malaysians will experience a smooth, safe and peaceful transition for a better Malaysia," she said at the IKBN Hall in Bukit Mertajam, Penang today.
